As a native New Yorker, Christopher Bliss has always found himself drawn to the many facets of cosmopolitan life. His work reflects the insight of a broad artistic sensibility. Though always active in the field of photography, Chris began his career as a concert pianist having studied in Europe, New York and Los Angeles, where he earned his Master’s degree in music.

Well known as a photographer of New York architecture and city street scenes, Chris has, for the past several years, made several trips to Paris, drawn to the beauty and history that this great city offers. “ New York has an excitement and an energy that I have found in no other city. Paris, on the other hand, offers some of the most beautiful and visually stimulating scenes around almost every corner”.

Chris’ artwork is shown in several galleries and is part of many private and corporate collections throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.

When Chris is not producing images for his books, calendars and gallery clients, he is in high demand as a commercial and advertising photographer, serving clients in California and all over the United States.
