Thomas A. Hockey

Thomas Hockey is the author/editor of ten books, including How We See the Sky and the award-winning Biographical Encyclopedia of Astronomers. His solar-system research centers on the atmosphere of the planet Jupiter. He is a Commission member of the International Astronomical Union and serves on the American Astronomical Society's Working Group for the Preservation of Astronomical Heritage. Hockey is a Professor of Astronomy at the University of Northern Iowa. He lives in Cedar Falls and is married with two grown sons. Minor Planet (25153) is named TomHockey.
