About the time I found out I hated the daily boredom of high school and it's repetitive environment on the basics, I discovered that reading was the best way to pass the time. I started reading at the age of seven years old thanks to my mother who worked daily with my sister and I and both of us were reading childrens' novels by the time we entered first grade.
The first book I read on my own was "Where the Red Fern Grows" by Wilson Rawls. It was assigned in second grade and as we read along in class I found myself becoming a part of the story.
By the end of the novel, I was so entranced that I as in shock for weeks after reading the final chapter where the antagonist falls on an ax and dies.
Back to high school; I wanted to write a story that someone could feel emotionally attached as I did to "Where The Red Fern Grows".
After wasting a good portion of my life on one thing or another I finally took a chance at writing and penned "Circle" and it received great reviews so I wrote "Follow" to delve deep into the romance genre.
"Glance" is more of a suspense thriller than a romance novel, but I tried to bring the two together...
Hope you enjoy them all, jj
