Helen Yeomans

Christmas is a favorite time of year for Helen, and after the success of her non-fiction best-seller The Christmas Carol Handbook, she was drawn to the season as the setting for her first novel. Owen’s Day is the story of a man who gives too much but has difficulty accepting gifts. Three subsequent novels dealt with money, golf and alcoholism. These were followed by a thriller series. Cruising to Danger, a tribute to the movie Charade, combines suspense and thrills with plenty of humor. The sequel, Finding Marius, came out late in 2021.

A children's book, A Knock at the Door, addresses some of the oddities in English spelling. It was a silver-medal winner in the 2015 Wishing Shelf Awards.

Helen worked in the publishing industry in Toronto and London before founding her own company in Vancouver, providing services to business clients worldwide. Born in England, she is an avid golfer and loves movies, music and reading.
