Caryn Rose

Caryn Rose is a music journalist, historian and archivist. In addition to her current bimonthly column over at Salon, she's written for NPR Music, the Guardian, Variety, Pitchfork, Billboard and many others, and her most recent book is "Why Patti Smith Matters." She currently resides in Detroit, Michigan.
