Joe Diomede

After traveling a good part of the world for many years and living in America, Asia, Australia and Europe, I found myself with a view of the Pyrenees in Southern France and two years till my mom's 80th birthday, so I decided to put down in words part of my amazing journey around the planet that started on a motorcycle from the door of our home in The Bronx on an August day in 1983.

The title came to me the night I finished the first rough draft, and I knew it was the perfect fit for the book - Cycles of a Traveler - was born!

The book in paper version was quite big, over 650 pages, and for a first book I was quite nervous by its size, but from the beginning I received many nice reviews and nobody mentioned that the book was too long (only too heavy;-).

When my book became available in electronic format I was happy that the book's size and weight would no longer be a problem. I hope any of you who purchase the electronic format get as much out of my book as I did experiencing the journey and traveling in a time when a book electronically available was the stuff of science fiction writers.

Enjoy the journey. Peace, Joe
