Delivering an Alternative Perspective - A Personal Message
Planet Earth is brimming with incredible ancient mysteries that our current history and science textbooks just don't teach you. It is truly disappointing how few people are aware of some of the incredible discoveries and unknown history of this world. Tantalizing mysteries surround us, and human history is far different than what is being taught in our classrooms. It is stunning to consider the evidence that is being withheld from the public which has not been included in the curriculum of our educational institutions. Unfortunately for reasons of politics, academics, and arrogance most people don't have a clue of some of the more amazing implications that these discoveries entail. There is an enduring story that is screaming out to be told.
The close-minded, intellectual elitist mindset of the mainstream scientific community cannot be relied on to do the job. Any concept or hypothesis not fitting comfortably within their neat and orderly paradigm is attacked, rejected outright, or ridiculed without even a whisper of an opportunity of constructive debate or dialogue. Also to blame is the mainstream media who have become nothing more than servants and voices of the ruling class elite. They are far too busy focusing on what celebrities are doing to cover legitimate news stories dealing with ancient history that demand investigation. Their petty focus on tabloid entertainment stories, pre-occupation in exposing the intimate secrets and private lives of celebrities and in chasing down the "exclusive" or "big story" borders on obsession. Simply witness the top stories featured daily on the internet. The vast majority involve journalistic sensationalism and entertainment. Furthermore, those consumers in the public supporting the feeding frenzy are only compounding the problem.
News stories involving ancient history discoveries are almost non-existent. Those that are reported are simply intended to serve and prop up the establishment scientific community due to its inability to provide enough believable evidence to support their failing theories and claims.
From my perspective there is no bigger story than that of humankind, its true origin and ancestry, and its future place in the cosmos.
Our technological development has progressed at an unprecedented speed. We are capable of sending people to the Moon; spacecraft beyond our Solar System; we have harnessed the atom; we can build computers and the most sophisticated electronic equipment; we are capable of cloning humans; but we haven't been able to explain the fundamental questions that we should be dealing with: Where do we come from? What is our purpose here? What is our destiny? We have no better answers to these questions than did our ancient ancestors.
This is the ultimate quest - to find out where we came from, how it all began, and most importantly who we really are as a species.
Humans are explorers by nature. From leaving our early home in Africa and settling throughout the continents, to sailing across the oceans in search of a new world, to embarking on spaceflight, our species has always sought to explore and learn. This thirst for knowledge is in our blood. It shouldn't stop with our generation.
I am a firm believer that the search for truth is extremely important. If it means that new discoveries force us to rewrite history and science textbooks and reconsider our views of the world, then we should not be afraid to do so. Life is much too short. It is a journey about experiences (both good and bad) and continuous learning. How can you learn without objectivity and an open mind? Exposure and indoctrination to only one side of a subject does not constitute learning the real and total truth - only a distorted, manipulated and controlled truth. It is now time. We need to take this opportunity to set the record straight once and for all.
A study of ancient civilizations and human evolution cannot be conducted responsibly without considering the anomalous evidence that exists and the fact that this evidence indicates, at the least, a possibility that mankind's evolutionary past has been influenced or powered by some external force or entity.
Many current practitioners of "alternative" or "new age" science have themselves become part of the establishment mainstream scientific orthodoxy. Their belief is that by simply traveling to the jungles of the Amazon, the deserts of Egypt, or the waters of the Caribbean for what are essentially photo opportunities it somehow makes them an "authority" or "expert". Their attempts to seek funding for their expeditions and endeavors is no better than those groups in the elitist ruling class who seek to gain favor, attention, acceptance, support, and ultimately job security for scientific study and research. It only cheapens and discredits the efforts of those who are attempting to deliver a critical message. True students of ancient history and science are only concerned with seeking the truth, presenting it in an articulate manner, educating the public and not the publicity and media hype that surrounds it.
While having your picture taken standing beside the Great Pyramid or Sphinx in Egypt may be impressive, may result in ego gratification and enhance your career resume, it doesn't make your information any more reliable or legitimate than someone who has conducted an objective research project through the electronic media.
Throughout my books I offer conclusive evidence that demonstrates a glaring ineptness within the mainstream scientific community. In light of recent archaeological and anthropological discoveries its credibility and relevance is steadily diminishing. It is grossly overrated as a source of reliable and impartial information and is rapidly becoming much like one subject it studies - a dinosaur.
Don't be misled. It is not necessary to be able to decipher or interpret cuneiform script and hieroglyphics. This is a common misconception. While formal training in sciences such as archaeology, anthropology, and paleontology is unquestionably a benefit, it becomes as much a liability and impairment as an asset. Remember that there is plenty of baggage that goes with the credentials. This includes pressure to conform to agenda-driven institutional policy, fear of project funding loss, avoiding the wrath of negative public and peer recognition and of becoming professionally ostracized. The credentials essentially discourage independent and creative thinking and force you to become just another slave and voice of the "party line". An occupation as an archaeologist or anthropologist does not ensure a path to the truth, only a bumpy road to travel and slippery slope to climb in having to serve many masters.
Make no mistake - a shovel, microscope or radio telescope aren't tools that are necessarily required in order to conduct a proper investigation. At one point in time this may have been true. However, in this electronic age where everything is driven by a "24-hour news cycle", where ratings, entertainment and the social media play such a prominent role (and also contribute to the confusion) it is much more important to be able to maneuver, steer and filter through the constant wave of misinformation and deception which is presented by academia, the scientific community and its willing accomplices in the mainstream media, and admittedly some well-intentioned laypeople voicing their opinions.
There is sufficient enough information available within the public domain to conduct thorough, responsible investigative research and to form a plausible theory or thesis. This includes an abundance of hard physical evidence and testimonies presented by many highly credible sources. And, as mentioned earlier, it is more a case of weeding through the trail of misinformation to separate the fact from fiction and testing for its validity.
The evidence is all around and staring us straight in the face. All it requires is some basic objectivity and common sense for those who choose to open their minds, expand their boundaries of thinking, and challenge conventional doctrine.
Joe Szostak is Vice President of a manufacturing and distribution group of international companies based in Ontario, Canada. His professional background and formal education are in Business Management, Engineering and Manufacturing. He has held senior executive positions throughout his career and has also worked independently as a consultant dealing with business acquisitions and mergers.
He has been a science enthusiast since his teens and has developed a personal interest in the research and study of science, history, ancient civilizations and the theories involving mankind's origins. His wide-ranging exploration of these subjects and desire to deliver an alternative perspective, to what is offered by mainstream science and history textbooks, has led him to undertake the writing of his first book Evidence of Lost Ancient Civilizations: Case Closed followed by Riddles of the Past: Solving Mankind's Ancient Mysteries, Mankind's Origins: The Hidden Secret Revealed, and Our Martian Ancestry Exposed.
Each book in this thought-provoking series, while intended to stand alone, is best appreciated and enjoyed in the pre-arranged sequence listed above.
