Andrea Novelli after engineering studies and a professional career in many multinational companies, he has started to focus on fiction writing. As a Writer, screenwriter and critic is the author of many detective novels and thriller books published by Marsilio ("Soluzione finale", "Per esclusione", "Il paziente zero"), Feltrinelli ("Manticora" trilogy), INK ("Blind Spot"), Frilli (the adventures of private detective Michele Astengo: "Acque torbide", "La superba illusione", "L'essenza della colpa", "Dare e avere"). He has published "Gli insoliti casi del Professor Augusto Salbertand" in Italy and Germany, which also appeared on the italian newspaper Il Secolo XIX . He has received prestigious awards such as the "Palazzo al Bosco" Prize and "Un libro per l’estate" and was a finalist for the Tedeschi Prize and the Altieri Prize several times, both promoted by Mondadori. He writes for "Thriller Magazine" and "Contorni di Noir" about movies and literature.
