Donna Nadira is a cheerful and creative young girl, whose passion and spirit in art and culture have brought her to numerous activities in those fields. Born in Jakarta, Indonesia on December 24, 1995, Donna has become a very prolific writer. At her young age, she has successfully published best-selling children's, preteen/teen, and young adult books.
In 2009, Donna published her first book The Never Land (KKPK series), a collection of short stories she wrote at the age of ten and eleven, which quickly became a best-selling children's book. Donna was also one of the writers of two best-selling short story anthologies Cyber Adventure (KKPK series) published in 2009 and Hypnolicious (Pink Berry Club series) published in 2010. Donna published her first novel Sir Junior (Pink Berry Club series) in 2010, which was well accepted by her readers. In 2011, Donna published Rio de Raneiro (Pink Berry Club series), which was expected to continue the success of her previous books. In the same year, she also published her first English novel Ttokpokki, a sweet teen novel she wrote at the age of fourteen, reaching out to young readers all over the world. Her fresh, energetic, and humorous writing style have always won the hearts of her young readers. Other than publishing books, Donna also has written short stories, news articles, and poems for her school magazines and drama scripts for her school drama performances.
Donna is currently attending 28 Senior High School in Jakarta, Indonesia. She spent her elementary school and junior high school years in Indonesia, and had the chance to attend Oakdale Elementary School in Illinois, USA for one school year. Apart from her remarkable achievements in writing books, Donna has demonstrated excellent academic standing. She graduated from her Junior High School and Elementary School as the best graduate. She won the Best Script Writer in Insomnia, an Indie Short Movie Festival for Senior High School Students in Jakarta in 2011. She won the Information & Communication Technology Championship for Junior High School Students for Tangerang District in 2008, and won the Math and Science Olympics for Elementary School Students for Tangerang Sub-District in 2006.
