Danielle Elliott Smith

Danielle Smith is a digital correspondent, host, storyteller, spokesperson, speaker, media trainer and the author of Mom, Incorporated: A Guide to Business + Baby (Sept 2011) and Social Media Engagement for Dummies (June 2013). Moving from her role as an award winning television News Anchor and Reporter into the world of social media, Danielle understands how 'social' and 'media' intersect. She has worked as a correspondent covering everything from the Red Carpet at the Academy of Country Music Awards to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and the 2011 ProBowl in Hawaii (both on behalf of P&G) as well as the 2011 HomeRun Derby for State Farm and the Go To Bat Initiative. She has championed causes close to her heart like the Con Agra Food's Foundation - Child Hunger Ends Here and Operation Shower's Military initiative to support the families of soldiers serving overseas. Danielle has MC'd events with the likes of First Lady, Michelle Obama, Jill Biden and Martha Stewart. She is the host and producer of the lifestyle series Keeping Style in Your Life, that can be seen on both YouTube and her site, ExtraordinaryMommy.com as well as working as a featured Vlogger for both Babble and SheKnows. Having founded both ExtraordinaryMommy.com and DanielleSmithMedia.com, Danielle has been featured on The CBS Early Show, Fox News, CNN and NPR and dedicates much of her time to video and media training.
