Lavawan Riley

Lavawan Riley is originally from Panama City, Florida. It is here that he began his music ministry over 50 years ago when he undertook the responsibility of pianist in his home church at the age of 10, playing for five services a week plus outreach ministries. Since that time he has been composing and arranging for piano and has served as the pianist for many churches and for countless events. Presently, he travels extensively around the country in his own concert and speaking ministry.

Lavawan is a graduate of Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri and resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Sheila. He has arranged 5 piano books for Lillenas Publishing Company, and is also the author and designer of a unique piano instruction course. Although the piano is his main emphasis, he also writes for other instruments. He is an orchestrator and has arranged music for church orchestras, visual media productions and recording sessions.
