“Professor Gary Lee is an old-timer and knows everyone! He shares with him an Aloha spirit from his homeland and he has a sense of humbleness, but lives with him is a samurai, poet, actor, artist, historian, and warrior.”

- Erik D. Jones, executive producer of Martial Arts Exclusive”

Gary Lee is the voice of Karate.”

- Michael Matsuda, President of The Martial Arts History Museum

“Professor Gary Lee should be given tremendous credit for his extraordinary effort to create a Black Belt Museum. The martial arts museum will be an institution that provides inspiration to the entire martial arts world. Not only a place honoring all of the pioneers in our industry, but also a place that informs, entertains and inspires other young martial artist to dream that one day, they too will be inducted in this prestigious museum.I look forward to one day in the near future visiting the museum as soon as it opens.”

Keith Vitali, Black Belt Magazine Hall of Fame

“Gary is a historian, a educator, a actor, a entertainer, a Samurai and a Big kid role up into one heck of a role model for kids, young adults and parents.

I have really enjoyed watching his talent grow into the force of a sport karate museum for the world.

There is no one I know who has the elite history he does in sport karate, after all he sold me back in 1982 to be the first martial arts show Astroworld had and help create many shows after that year.with fight scenes, high falls, tricks, weapons and comedy

The Hollywood Stunt Show was a big hit and Gary played the lead.

Gary is like a Tsunami, this huge wave that hits you with out any warning but you love the ride and you can not wait to get hit again and again!

If Gary puts his passion into The Sport Karate Museum like he has his acting and showmanship , another winner!

Young Grand Master Gary Lee is what I call someone very special. We could have chosen anyone in the world to head up and direct our kids program and give a column too, but Gary came to the table with a lot of vision and concerned for our youth.

He has turned that passion into a sport karate museum for all of us .

He created The Living Legends Celebrity Roast and I have been to most of them as the guest speaker, he roasted me bringing in most of my closest friends like in Chuck Norris, Gene Lebell, Don ‘The Dragon”Wilson and so many others, it was standing room only!

Gary is a Grand Master at producing and making things productive. He is a investor’s dream , all his events have a stamp of excellence and a five star rating. In Houston. there is no one that has done more positive productions than Gary.In our office we call him Young Grand Master Lee for he is a real tree in a world of talkers and wanna be’s.

We are proud to be part of the Museum of Sport Karate and Gary Lee is one of the real Grand Masters around , I know because I signed his seventh, eight and ninth Dan Certificates. He will take the Jr. World Black Belt club and the Museum of Sport Karate to the top!!

When I took over as the Chairman and CEO of the Masters Hall of Fame 2006, I wanted to refocus the vision of the Masters to “Recognize Excellence in the Martial Arts” as well create leadership opportunities for the martial arts community.

Armed with a new vision I began to recruit the leaders in the martial arts community.

Professor Gary Lee joined the Masters and was the host of Black Belt TV where he interviewed the Legends of the Banquet.I was impressed how he personally handled the stars of our event and how he was able to make everyone feel his Hawaiian attitude.

Professor Lee’s extensive history in Karate has proven him worthy of being a inductee in to the Masters Hall of Fame .He was inducted for his leadership and excellence in martial arts, as well as his pioneering vision for the Museum of Sport Karate .

Professor Gary Lee is a tireless professional which is evident from all the work he done to bring this Museum to life for the public and pioneers to share.

In Closing Professor Lee is a martial arts youth advocate; from Houston’s Kid’s Expo which he ran for nine years, his role as a board member for the Academy of Masters College Scholarship program and of course the Six Flag years where he performed over five-thousand live martial art shows.

Gary has given his very best in every aspect of his duties and the Museum of Sport Karate will be another notch on this legendary Black Belt’s journey into Sport Karate History .
