R.T. Lawton

R.T. Lawton is a retired federal law enforcement agent, past member of the Mystery Writers of America Board of Directors and the winner of the 2022 Edgar Award for Best Short Story. He has over 160 published short stories of which 52 of these have been sold to Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine. Other stories have appeared in various anthologies and magazines, plus 10 mini-mysteries in Woman's World magazine.

Many of his story characters and plots come from the street criminals he worked on and their ongoing con games.
