I have written poetry from childhood; it was a grade school teacher who first added a comment on one of my works with questions as to whether I was alluding to "Keats," "Shelley," 'Byron," or other such English artists. I, at that age, never heard of them, so I guess this style of writing follows a universal spirit and, at the same time, unique to me in this modern era. Now, at least when I write I not only know who these artists are (and the other poets I have studied, from classical to contemporary) but, in turn, are more than mere poetic allusions, they are my living, breathing guides in this luminous field.
My publications include:
1. Rhymes from the Heart (2003),
2. Kidron's Calm (2004),
3. The Sonnet Collection of William Shakespeare: Translated & Analyzed (2005),
4. The Sonnets Inspiration Gave Sweet Birth (2008),
5. Poesy's Reflection: A poetry collection sonnets sway (2011),
6. The Sonnets: 78 - 100 (2011),
7. Poetry Music Lives By (2012),
8. The Sonnets: 101-154: The Final Series (2013),
9. The Sonnets: 155-200: Creation's Hand (2014),
10. The Sonnets: 201-246: Sonnets from the Soul (2015),
11. Sonnets: 247-283: Love's Tale (2015),
12. The Sonnets 248-300: Fine Lines (2016),
13. The Sonnets: 301 - 333: With a Poetry Sweetener (2017),
14. The Sonnets: 334-343: Best Lines (2019).
15. The Sonnet Collection of William Shakespeare: Translated & Analyzed (2022),
16. Now And Then (In Rhyme), (2023) and
17. The Romantic Collection to Soothe Your Soul (2025)
As I have elsewhere stated, my goal is to contribute to our poetic legacy and wish that my work encourages other new artists to do the same.
