Samuel Endicott served in the Army's combat engineers from 1975 - 1995. Trained as an airborne ranger, he commanded units in the Second Infantry Division, 194th Armored Brigade, and Forces Command. He is a 1989 graduate of the Naval War College. Born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1949, he earned degrees from the University of Mississippi (BA) and University of Southern California (MS). He has played tennis in the Southeastern Conference, nordic skied in the Black Forest, and competed in a tennis tournament behind the Iron Curtain. His first novel, Molly Lake in The Quebec Affair 1759 (retitled), won the 2011 Global eBooks Award for modern historical fiction. He resides in South Carolina's Low Country Region with his wife, Elaine, and English Setter, Probie.
