Louise Forster

Hi, and thanks for taking a moment to read a little about me. I discovered the joy of writing while backpacking through Europe, visiting various parts of Australia and watching people go about their daily lives. Once home (writing as Lucy Forster), I won the Emma Darcy Award in 2000. In 2008, my book came 3rd in the Charter Oak Romance Writers Golden Acorn Excellence In Writing Contest in the US, with my story, The Secret Life Of Bob, now titled Home Truths in Tumble Creek, which became a bestseller on Amazon Australia, as did the sequel, Tumble Creek. I love writing strong heroines, women who strive to make their dreams a reality. I also love writing about rugged men who can deal with the country just as well as the city. I live on a small property with my husband, extended family, three rescue dogs, two cats, and two possums who have their own little apartment under the carport.
