"Matchaholics" is my fourth published book. But this one is certainly my favorite and most heartfelt novel as this collaboration was co-written with my fiance and soul-mate, Patty Farrell.

I love when Patty tells the story of how we began writing the story together. "I have an idea for a book," Patty had said. "Hello, my name is Rebecca and I'm a Matchaholic." Then Patty mimes me turning to my laptop and pounding furiously on the keys. It was an amazing experience to have together and one that has brought us even closer. (Even if sometimes she teases me that some of my chapters read like 'porn'. :) And yes, she only let me get away with some of it !)

Those who have already read the novel report that it is a bit racy... and that they couldn't put it down. Often times when I was writing I imagined some people showing up to work on Monday and swapping dating stories from the weekend. We've all done it. And it makes for juicy gossip and crazy characters.

I love writing, as I'm in finance by day. At first it was just a hobby. Something to do besides watching TV at night. Now it's a wonderful way to grow closer to my beautiful girl. We sit on the couch together, or side by side on the kitchen bar, thinking up new ways to throw our characters into sizzling situations... much of it inspired by true stories
