Leslie Wolfson

Leslie Wolfson has been writing stories and poems since she could pick up a pencil. She has published 8 children's plays, dozens of book reviews, and numerous freelance articles. I Know a Dog Who Swallowed a Sock is her first picture book. She was inspired by her dog, Milo, who loves to chew socks!

Ms. Wolfson has recently re-issued her biography, Jackie Coogan: America's First Child Superstar in paperback and Amazon Kindle. Jackie Coogan is a non-fiction biography for kids in grades 5-8. Her newest book is A Beak for Grecia, the true story of a toucan who lost her beak and was fitted with a prosthetic.

Ms. Wolfson has read her books to literally thousands of elementary children. 95% of them give a big thumbs up!
