As the youngest of three children and an extravert from the start, Paul Herring grew up as the creative “Little Fish” in Riverside, California. From childhood to adolescence to adulthood, he immersed himself in every facet of writing. Nourished by a steady diet of novels and motion screen pictures, he gradually matured into the imaginative author that he is today.
Years ago, after a string of boring day jobs, Paul and his wife, Becky, decided to switch positions so that they could both live out their dreams. He wanted to become a full-time writer and she wanted to climb the corporate ladder. His wife encouraged him to become totally committed to his writing and to always visualize success. So Paul became a househusband while Becky climbed her way to the top.
Over the next few years, Paul carved out a niche for himself as a successful author. He lives in Northern Virginia with his lovely wife and two of his three daughters. Paul spends most of his time proofreading the next manuscript or weaving together the thread of life’s drama with the fast-paced intense action of his imagination.
Paul Herring is the 11th great grandson of George Mason, author of the Virginia Bill of Rights and a freelance writer for the Mason family descendants’’ newsletter, Gunston Hall. He is the author of Letters of Ascent, The Secret of the Secret Through the Alphabet Letter Archetypes, Murders at Foster’s Fork, as well as a growing list of other works.
