Jacob Held

I am Professor of Philosophy and Assistant Provost for Academic Assessment and General Education at the University of Central Arkansas. I'm a philosophical generalist who pursues any and all philosophical issues I find pertinent to crafting a praiseworthy life. My training is in 19th Century German Idealism, but my interests are much broader. I also believe philosophy ought to be accessible to all people so focus on publishing primarily in popular venues and in language accessible to lay people.
