Jeff Margolis

Jeff Margolis has over 35 years of knowledge and experience growing innovative healthcare technology and service organizations from early-stage through category leadership. He originated the systematic concepts of Integrated Healthcare Management and Health Optimization, notably codifying both into commercial data and software companies as publishing books on both subjects.

Margolis is the founder and former Chairman and CEO of TriZetto, the first vertical SaaS enterprise software company, creating the market-leading benefits administration platform supporting over 130M U.S. lives. He is also the prior CEO of Welltok, which he led from pre-revenue startup to become the leading healthcare consumer activation platform company that touches over 22 million consumers annually. Mr. Margolis currently serves as a Senior Advisor to Blackstone (NYSE:BX); Chairman of Welltok; Chairman at NextGen Healthcare (NASDAQ:NXGN); Vice-Chairman of TriNetX; and as board member and audit committee chair at Alignment Healthcare (NASDQ:ALHC). In the not-for-profit world, he serves as a board member of Hoag Hospital and is Chairman of Hoag Clinic, and is also Chairman of the University of California at Irvine's Center for Digital Transformation.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with High Honors in Business Administration-Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He holds a CPA certificate (inactive) and an AICPA Chartered Global Management Accountant designation and is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow.
