Scott Honey

'Not Exactly The Finest Kind' is Scott Honey's debut novel. Currently working on his next project this lover of satirized history, and the mockery of current events/pop culture, friends, family and himself, continues to be influenced by the works of Tim Dorsey, Christopher Moore and Carl Hiaasen. As a New England native, a steady diet of Stephen King and John Irving were obviously required reading, less you be ostracized, the author often reflects.

Scott Honey lived for over three decades on the mid coast area of Maine. He met a multitude of characters and influences there, as well as from encounters in Florida and elsewhere around the USA, that he can't seem to shake. Eventually becoming employed within corporate America inspired him to strive towards the career goal of "Full-Time Daydreamer." Scott loves almost every genre of music (not so crazy about 'Show tunes,' though...), has yet to find a food he does not like (not crazy about cauliflower, but will eat it.) and thinks 'Light" beer is silly. He lives with his wife, two young children, 3 dogs, and an evil cat.
