Susan Barnett

Susan Barnett, b. 1957, was, in another life, an award-winning broadcast journalist. She's had several careers, ranging from executive to academic.

Her story, "Pretzel Logic", was nominated for a Pushcart Prize and was first published by The Rose and Thorn Literary Ezine. Her stories have been published individually in several literary collection zines and were published as a collection by Hen House Press.

The three book series, "The Liar Next Door," is nearly complete. You can read it online at SWAG Fiction at Substack.

She has two children, two granddaughters, a dog, a cat, and lives with a musician/composer who occasionally asks her to sing backup on songs and commercials.

Their home is deep in New York's Catskills, outside a small town she will tell you is just about perfect.

Her neighbors are cows.
