Gloria M. Walker

Pastor Gloria M. Walker, D. Min., M.Div., is founder of Gloria M. Walker Ministries, Inc., a non-profit 501c3 ministry. She is also a chaplain and Pastoral Counselor and Grief Counselor. She is a native of Atlanta, GA and mother of four adult sons. Prior to her call to ministry, her profession was in Education, She was a Social Studies and History teacher that graduated from Georgia State University, majoring in History-Broad Field Social Sciences and minoring in Sociology. Additionally, she has a Masters and Doctorate from Liberty University in Pastoral Counseling.

Early in her life, she questioned the existence of God after losing her husband in an auto accident and becoming widowed after only one week of marriage at the age of 21. She had dated her high school sweetheart for six years. When this devastating tragedy occurred, she was incensed with anger at God during her grief, and experiencing a broken heart that was too painful to bear, so she decided to go on a quest to apprehend God. She began attending church, reading the Bible, watching televangelists on TV, etc. all in an effort to find out how to talk to God and get Him to talk back to her so she could ask Him, "Why He took her husband?" Up until then, she lived by a basic credence that God existed, but she had never received salvation in Jesus Christ, What happened changed her life forever as she searched spiritual things and acquired revelation knowledge by the Holy spirit. She wrote about it in her first book "Appointed Times-God Is Always In Control" on Amazon.

After receiving a "call" to ministry many years later, Pastor Walker began following the Lord's instructions of reaching the lost and sharing the gospel through social media outlets. Additionally, the Lord used her tragedy and worked it for good (Romans 8:28). She now supports others as a Grief Counselor and chaplain.
