Jerry Genesio

Jerry Genesio is the author of six books. He is the founder of the Children of War Rescue Project and has participated, with UN-NGO and UN military peacekeeping forces, in humanitarian and rescue missions in Central America and Bosnia. He is also a Marine veteran, a historian, and was employed for nearly two decades as a human blood specialist and regional representative of a multi-national biologicals firm.

His latest book is Lamb's Blood, a novel based on the U.S. blood industry and its complicity in Anastasio Somoza's exploitation of the Nicaraguan people, which helped to provoke the Sandinista Revolution in the 1970s.

Genesio was born and raised in Massachusetts. He currently lives in Maine with his wife, Lorraine, where he writes full time.
