Perry Aylen

Well, first off, I must come clean and tell you that ‘Perry Aylen’ is a pen-name. Perry Aylen is in fact an amalgam of two people. We wrote Hexult together, but unlike most teams who share the load and work together, we work more like opposing teams; fighting each other, pushing to sway the story to fit our own ideals.

It wasn’t an obvious marriage. A lady with a passion for English and a career that spanned English teaching and professional editing, with a man who could only bring imagination, resourcefulness and monosyllabic words to the party.

But, bizarrely, it works, what could have ended up a disjointed novel with wavering style, is a smooth story where no one has guessed it was a team effort.
