Colin Anderson

Hello good people of America. My name is Colin Anderson and I'm a first-time author (although I have written some short scripts in the past), this however is my first "real" book and it was a treat to be holding it in my hand.

I was Born in Bristol in the U.K. in 1970 and had a fairly normal childhood if there is such a thing. Aged 19 I moved to Cardiff in Wales (that's the bit sticking out of the left hand side of the UK) and worked in various Government departments spending almost every day snacking on pretzels, chips and anything that i could digest. Quite quickly i grew in size and lost sight of my feet, only seeing them occasionally in the reflections of shop windows.

The book started out as a food diary for my own use as I felt the need to keep a track of my food intake, but it quickly became an excuse to have a rant and to make a daily record of the absurd and annoying things that happen to me.

Some people have asked what genre the book falls into and I have to say that i really don't know. Mostly it's a factual book about my life, there's elements of dietary advice, observations about the world around me, comments on schooling, banking, family life and a few recipes thrown in for good measure. So if there's a category that covers that....that's the genre.

The reviews I have received so far have been very generous and I'm pleased to see that it has brought some joy and laughter into the readers lives.

The book is available as a download to the wonderful Kindle, or if you prefer a more tactile read, order yourself a paperback.

If you search on Youtube for "tales of the Unexploded" you will find some short videos relating to the stories in the book. Be warned, i'm no Steven Spielberg. The videos will make more sense as you read the book.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, I hope you enjoy the book.
