Jill Rowan

Born in Hertfordshire, England, Jill Rowan now lives in the Shropshire countryside. She has both a BA and a BSc. from the Open University, is a keen photographer and also enjoys nature, attempting to create a garden that lives up to her imagination (fail!), history, walking, cycling, and endless amounts of reading. Her list of more unusual interests is long and includes trains and spiders.

Her first novel, The Legacy, a time travel romance, was published in 2011 and her second book, The Dream, set in New Zealand (her favourite part of the world but so far only visited once), was published in early 2013. She later self-published her book Angelica Died, which is partly based on some of her own childhood experiences, followed by three short stories - including a brief sequel to The Legacy. She is currently engaged in several writing projects.
