David Russell

David Russell was born in San Francisco, grew up in Marin County, and dropped out of UC Berkeley to become a serial entrepreneur. He authored a report for the American Electronics Association in the late 1980’s predicting the demise of U.S. tech manufacturing and one of his startups was an HP-funded venture that ultimately hosted 1,800 online stores. His fifth book, The Company Culture Challenge, builds upon his earlier effort, Success With People, a twelve-step program for leaders addicted to poor management habits. His goal is to introduce one million people to the 7-step Company Culture Challenge system to better engage your company’s greatest assets – your employees – so your organization competes more effectively in today’s challenging economic times.
