Tracy has a strong, spirited work ethic and is an advocate for Multiple Sclerosis awareness. This dynamic woman is actively involved with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and serves as a facilitator for a SF Bay Area self-help group. In addition, she's starting an online SHG for poets and authors, because her own experience has affirmed the therapeutic value of the written word. Whether an individual's preference is journaling, poetry, fiction or non-fiction, writing is a tool Tracy intends to promote within the MS community.
The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America sponsored an educational video project for the newly diagnosed and Tracy participated in that valuable production. Far too often people with MS hear the expression, "But you look so good!", but in reality we may be weak, numb, or even blind. To reflect what life with MS is really like, one day Tracy would like to create a video that chronicles a day in the life of numerous people, in varying stages of MS.
In the meantime, for exploration, education and relaxation, Tracy looks forward to sailing on the annual Multiple Sclerosis Foundation Cruise for a Cause. It's an opportunity to visit exotic places and add more stamps on her passport, as she's determined to seek, embrace, and cherish all this glorious life has to offer.
Tracy motivates and inspires, through her accomplishments and perspective, which reflect her unyielding and contagiously positive attitude, "I have MS~MS does not have me. It's but one manageable part, of my life's Magnificent Story!"
(A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each book will go to MS Organizations - Support, Education and Research...until we find a cure!)
