Bruce Allen Kopytek

Bruce Allen Kopytek was born in Hamtramck, Michigan, into a very inquisitive Polish-American family, who, despite their working-class bearing, valued faith, education and culture above everything else. As a result, he traveled widely as a youth and still does today with his wife, Carole. They reside in Shelby Township, where he practices architecture, a field in which he has over thirty-nine years of experience, having designed various commercial and residential projects locally, nationally and abroad. A music enthusiast, book collector, history buff and avid ballroom dancer, Bruce also participates in pastoral work at his home parish, St. Lawrence, in Utica, Michigan. Bruce maintains a blog entitled “The Department Store Museum” and, when not home, is most likely poking around some very old place in Europe. At home, he is most likely being chased and bitten by a wild pussycat named Bella.
