Ronald Talney

Talney is the author of the satiric thriller, Nockers Up!, as well as a juvenile mystery novel, The Ghost of Deadman's Hollow, and five books of poetry. He has published a number of freelance articles, personal essays and poems in a variety of magazines, newspapers, quarterlies and anthologies. He lives in Lake Oswego, Oregon. He is a retired attorney from a private, nonprofit legal services program that represents low-income clients in civil matters. He was born in British Columbia but has lived in Oregon most of his life. He has won a variety of writing awards and wrote the dedication poem for the statue, Portlandia, which is a widely known Portland landmark, being the second largest beaten copper statue in the United States. Only the Statue of Liberty is larger and Portlandia is known as Liberty's sister. He is married to Linnette.
