Karl Smith

Karl Peter Smith, born 1971 in Middlesbrough England to English parents. His first book "Search for Eurydice", was a mythical cathartic Greek story in which he buried the pain of losing his real life sister. Further studies at 'Northern Film and Media' led to the release of various screenplays across many genres including "The Sound Of Naked Spurs", "Serial Pool Attendant" and "A History Of Fear" which features Odette Warder Henderson on the cover. A passion for drawing led Karl to capture the likenesses of many celebrities in "Light and Dark for Chiaroscuro: Pastiche Portraits better than Ever!" [a LULU exclusive hardback] of which a highlight of receiving a 'Thank you' letter from Jean Marsh O.B.E. made his day. A recent venture into finding out what real true love is can be found in his all-girl LGBT fantasy 'Girl Crush'; a collection of real-life related short scenes of which "Manga For Women:Girl Crush Annual 2018" is the latest telling.
