The author of four published novels, Suzanne Semsch is the daughter and wife of U.S. army officers, and a mother and grandmother. Although she has lived in 13 states and Europe, she is a longtime Virginia resident, now living in Charlottesville with Bingo and Olivia, her two cats. Life in the military prompted her to write The Sound of Caissons, and over 20 years spent in Virginia's Northern Neck inspired The Lees of Menokin, Turn on No-Bridge Road, and a sequel to No-Bridge Road, The Widow Darling, which was made available 11/01/2014. She posts about her writing experiences, and the joys and tribulations of indie publishing on her blog, http://suzannesemsch.com.
