L.A. Nicholson

L.A. Nicholson was born in Georgia and raised in North Carolina, where she graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in biology. She has written numerous articles for gardening and general interest magazines as well as horticultural journals. Her professional experience ranges from plant tissue culture to public relations.

After recovering from a bout with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Nicholson wrote her story to reach out to other sufferers. She is also a certified presenter for the “In Our Own Voice” program of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Nicholson lives in western North Carolina with her son and many pets. This is her first book.
