Tracy Lunquist

Tracy Lunquist is a compulsive writer. From humble beginnings as the editor of her own newspaper at the age of ten (with three semi-regular correspondents and a subscriber base that stretched from coast to coast), she went on to serve as a feature reporter and copy editor on her high school newspaper, producer of a monthly newsletter for a bookstore, and author of hundreds of pages of technical and marketing copy for a consumer electronics manufacturer.

Curiously, this all happened in the context of other jobs and academic pursuits, most (but not all) related to education and people development. A bit over twenty years of work experience, ten of it in business for herself as a contract writer, consultant, and business coach, provided real life learning to balance a Master of Education degree in human resource and organization development. And since art mimics life, she has co-authored two books about real-life subjects: "Masterminds Unleashed: Selling for Geniuses" and "Do Eagles Just Wing It?"

More recently, she has been expressing her writing compulsion in the context of curriculum -- in topics as diverse as unmanned aircraft systems and alcohol risk management education. She is in the early research stages of writing a book on organizational culture, a topic that has fascinated her for years.

Tracy also writes speeches, and even gives them from time to time. She has been a featured speaker at meetings of Rotary Clubs, Kiwanis, ABWA, NAWBO, and WOAMTEC and has presented workshops at the Women in Aviation, International conference and Seminole State College’s Small Business Development Center. She has appeared as a guest on Daytona State College Public Television’s “Small Business Hotline,” and assumes “Good Morning America” (or perhaps “America’s Funniest Home Videos”) is the logical next step.
