Scott Jackson was born and raised in San Jose, California, where he monopolized the daily sports page and systematically made his way through every sports book in the local library.

His dreams of a career in professional athletics doomed from the start, he turned to engineering instead. But in his spare time, he enjoys writing sports books for kids with his wife, Julie.
