In 2011 I produced my first novel, 'Oh Sh**!', (as it was originally titled), now renamed 'Oh Sharon!' followed by more fiction, and a biography of my cancer treatment. In 2014 I discovered a fascinating character from the 18th century, Elizabeth Raffald, who lived in Manchester, England, a changing place at a time of many inventions. At the dawn of the Industrial Age, Manchester was the centre of the cotton trade and industrial development. I used to give talks about her and wrote a fictionalised diary of her life, Elizabeth Raffald, An Uncommon Woman, issued in June 2020.
I continue to write fiction and promote Elizabeth Raffald. All books are available on Amazon as ebooks or paperbacks.
For more information see my website. I format my own novels for both print and ebook formats and am happy to advise other people on how to do it.
