Ryan Donovan

Ryan lives in Vancouver, WA with his wife, Leanne, and his daughters Mabel, Estelle, and Rosie. For his day job he works as a pastor at a church, and then also serves part-time as a missionary at a Bible Camp. He spent 10 years running a dog walking business, and is always waiting for his next absurd idea to pop up that will engage his entrepreneurial mind. Lately, he's been publishing coloring books under a pen name, Art I. Donovan. There are three different series of coloring books: The Three Turkeys, Animal Bologna, and Murdock the Dog.

In Ryan's garage, you'll find about a dozen half-completed woodworking projects. He loves to BBQ, wishes he had the time and money to be a Portland Trailblazers season ticket holder, and he believes the best t-shirts are free t-shirts.

Ryan's books include Suburban Dog Walking, Pray For Kaia, The Chewable Gospel, and Lucy. Suburban Dog Walking is a how-to guide to starting and operating your own dog walking business. Pray for Kaia is a book written in real-time, chronicling the short life of his first daughter. The Chewable Gospel is a short and simple explanation of the crucial elements of the Christian faith. And Lucy was written and mailed to Leanne, one chapter a day, while she was away on a trip, during the time Ryan and Leanne were dating.

Ryan graduated from the now-defunct Multnomah Bible College in Portland, OR, which is just across the river from where he currently lives in Vancouver.
