Willie Patterson had worked in Social Services for over 30 years, and was Assistant Director for Family and Child Care when he resigned to found the ministry of Family Spectrum in 2004. This was to provide training and consultation for church leaders on a wide range of complex family related difficulties including the full range of child sexual abuse and protection issues which is the scope of his first book. Family Spectrum also addresses issues of marriage breakdown, divorce, human sexuality , and disrupted and reconstituted families.
