Amanda Strombom

Amanda Strombom is the President of Vegetarians of Washington, a nonprofit organization based in Washington state. Vegetarians of Washington is one of the largest vegetarian societies in the US. They hold monthly dining events, offer a variety of classes, and organize Seattle's Vegfest, the largest vegetarian festival in the country. Together with Stewart Rose, they have published 4 books, including Say No to Meat, The Veg-Feasting Cookbook, The Vegetarian Solution, and Vegetarian Pacific Northwest.

Amanda is originally from England, and went vegetarian while living in Malaysia. Moving to the US in the late '90s, she was delighted to discover the wide range of vegetarian foods that make life so much easier. She loves to share with people how easy and delicious it is to be vegetarian these days.
