Lisa B. Jasper

Lisa is the co-founder and chairwoman of Thought Ensemble. Lisa has over 15 years of consulting experience focused on the intersection of business organizations and technology, and as the coauthor Reboot: Competing With Technology Strategy, she now puts her knowledge to work in book form. At the heart of Reboot is the notion that companies must reboot the way they think about IT organizations in the broader context of business strategy. Lisa’s purpose for writing this book was to introduce a new way of thinking about technology in the context of business strategy.

The compelling factors that drove Lisa to assist in the creation of Thought Ensemble were her love of consulting and thought leadership, but more importantly, the focus required for strategic planning in technology organizations in order to be successful. She believes focus is clearly the firm’s differentiating ingredient and is grateful for the chance to do what she loves with colleagues and clients who challenge her to think more progressively every day. Her idea of fun is finding ways to ensure that great ideas don’t end up on the shelf, and then creating unique approaches to make those strategies actionable.

Her consulting career includes applications development and strategy roles with, Accenture (Andersen Consulting), The Boston Consulting Group, Tactica Technology Group, Hitachi Consulting and Pariveda Solutions. She has an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business and a Computer Science degree from Trinity University.

Lisa currently serves on the board of the Denver Business Series and co-chairs on the Colorado Software and Internet Association’s Education Committee. She also sits on the Colorado alumni board for Trinity University and Fuqua Business School. In her spare time, she loves to read, attend her book club and participate in wine classes, golf, yoga, hiking and skiing. She resides in beautiful Colorado with her husband and budding family.
