j.a. Briggs

j.a. Briggs was born in 1949 in Gunnison, Colorado, and started breathing at an early age. He has been an educator, web developer, documentation specialist, corporate trainer, cabbie, green chain puller (not Bat Chain Puller for Captain Beefheart fans), road striper, fire fighter, and a host of other irrelevant things. But through them all, one thing remains consistent...his desire to breathe. Now that he has published his first book of poetry, "Eat Art and Utter Poems," he hopes to continue breathing as a writer.
