Sherry Hartzler

As a child, Sherry Hartzler was captivated by her grandmother's recollections of immigrant families in the early 1900's who struggled to make a living in the coal-mining region of Republic, Pennsylvania. Memories of her grandmother's stories led Sherry on her own path of storytelling for and about ordinary women who find extraordinary strength in everyday life.
