David Harry

David Harry is an attorney and the author of nine mystery novels, The Padre Puzzle, The Padre Predator, The Padre Paranoia, The Padre Pandemic, The Padre Poison, The Padre Phantom, The Padre Phony, The Padre Pirate and the soon to be released The Padre Puppets.

All nine mystery books are set on the rustically beautiful South Texas barrier island of South Padre Island and all nine feature the crime fighting duo Jimmy Redstone and Angella Martinez. David's novels are the all time bestselling books at the Paragraphs on Padre bookstore on South Padre Island.

Mr. Harry, writing under his given name of David Harry Tannenbaum, is also the author of Standard Deviation, featuring an Aspergers Syndrome child who channels his absolute fascination with gears and motors to allow his quadriplegic sister to walk. Standard Deviation is a deeply moving story of bad choices and flawed humans. David is also the author of Out Of The Depths, a heart wrenching story of a Holocaust surviver struggles with his guilt long after his release from the horrors of the camp. Mr. Tannenbaum's latest book, Adventures In The Law relates stories from his career as a lawyer.

Originally from the East Coast, David was introduced to South Padre Island in 1992. Mr. Harry, and his wife Mary, now live on the island with their dog Franco. When not on the island, David and Mary can usually be found enjoying Pittsburgh, PA. or Miromar Lakes, FL.
