George Williams

George Williams (screen name for George Poncy) is a motion picture producer, author and award winning screenwriter as well as an actor, having appeared in several films, commercials and television shows including Regis and National Public Radio. His last motion picture, UNCONSCIOUS, is a Universal Vivendi release. George is a veteran public speaker, including presentations on major cruise lines.

Author of nine books and several articles (often as George Poncy), his memoir SNOW ON THE PALMS has been the #1 bestseller in south Florida since its release in 2013.

Former CEO of several companies and consultant to the United States Senate, George has been a professional blackjack player and is barred from play in Las Vegas. His book, BLACKJACK TO WIN, is now in its fourth edition. An accomplished rock guitarist and recording artist, he has toured with Roy Buchanan, the Legends of Doo-Wop and The Living Dead. A top-flight soccer goalkeeper for many years, Williams shut out England’s World Cup championship team. He is married with four children and seven grandchildren.
