I am a Chicago native pulled from the shackles of a 9 to 5 job, and wound up in a small town in Germany to follow my writing dreams. As Gwendolyn Brooks said, “Writing is a delicious agony.”

A multi-genre author, wife, and mother of a furry one, I jumped over the big pond into another culture. My writing ideas come from living life. "How vain it is to sit down to write when you have not stood up to live." Henry David Thoreau. Germany has opened my eyes to cooking, baking, gardening, bike riding, and road trips, but not necessarily in that order.

Aside from reading, writing, and watching my favorite shows, much of my time is spent with my husband and our dog, Shakespeare. He doesn't recite sonnets, but he has a beautiful howl when listening to opera.
