Thomas "Sonny" Garrett

Thomas “Sonny” Garrett lives in the Arkansas Ozarks between two beautiful lakes along with White River, one of the world's premiere trout streams, and the Buffalo National River. He and his wife, Kim, have two children – Eli and Amelia -- and three grandchildren. Along with writing, Sonny also is a photographer and likes to explore the Ozarks with his baby, his trusty 1996 Toyota Tacoma.

Sonny worked at The Baxter Bulletin from 1978 through 2015, where he was a reporter, columnist, city editor, editorial page editor, editorial writer, entertainment editor, and assistant cook and bottle washer. He received awards from the Arkansas Press Association and Associated Press Managing Editors for news writing, column writing and editorial writing.

“Ruby Steele Bounty Hunter” is his first published novel. He has published three collections of his columns, "A View from the Hills," "Just Another Day in Paradise," and "Modern Life & Other True Stories." All his books are available on Amazon.
