Reverend Diane Bradshaw was married to Arnold in 1996. In 2004 Arnold was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. On July 14, 2005 Arnold was admitted to the VA's Transitional Care Unit. She cared for him through his entire illness and kept daily journals and decided to write about it so she could share her experiences with others.
The book has real history from World War II and also a very compelling story of Alzheimers Disease and the issues for the loved ones, caregivers, family and friends.
"I Am Arnold" is a book about Arnold's military experience and his 5-year journey with the Veteran's Administration and Alzheimer's Disease.
