Stephen M. DeBock

Stephen M. DeBock is a Marine Corps veteran who served in the Presidential Honor Guard during the Eisenhower and Kennedy administrations. A private pilot and former liveaboard boater, he has penned articles from those experiences for American Heritage, AOPA Pilot, and Living Aboard magazines.

Additionally, for 20 years he wrote and edited the quarterly newsletter of fine artist H. Hargrove, which led to a coffee table book for collectors, The Art of H. Hargrove. (www.hhargrove.com)

DeBock's writing on media literacy and consumer education won an award from the State of New Jersey, which led to his appointment as a consultant to Zillions, the Consumer Reports magazine for children. In that capacity, he contributed to essays in Time magazine, ABC's World News Tonight, and CNBC. He also served as a member of the Rutgers University Media Literacy Project.

Two of his paranormal fiction stories, Morgen and The Testament of Charlie Fairweather, have earned top-15 status in the Preditors and Editors online readers poll. He continues to write imaginative and speculative fiction, from sci-fi/fantasy tales to supernatural thrillers, short stories to novels.

He and his wife Joy live in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
